Halo novel 'The Cole Protocol' releases Nov. 25

We try to avoid talking about those rectangular objects made of paper and full of words (unless it's synergistic), but when it's the next installment of a bestselling book series based on a video game, we'll give it the time of day. Halo: The Cole Protocol will be available starting November 25, an audio book will release simultaneously for those who'd rather listen to their literature.

The book is written by Tobias Buckell and follows the Spartan Gray team into "an unexplored conflict of the Human-Covenant War." We're mostly just amused by the pseudo warning on the book's cover that the novel is based on an "M"-rated game.
