Guitar Hero: World Tour a hit on Wii
A lot of Wii owners have been anxiously awaiting Guitar Hero: World Tour, as the title is doing well on the Wii. According to UBS analyst Ben Schachter, the full band kit bundle is selling on the Wii and Xbox 360, as he states the bundles were "near sell-outs." Also, Schachter says the game on its own isn't really selling. Where does this data come from? Apparently, UBS checked with over 20 retail chains like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and GameStop, gathering first day sales data to come to its conclusions. Of course, we won't have the full data for North American sales until October's NPD figures release.
