Fourteen ways to enjoy TUAW

We're always trying new things around here, from apps to web services to hardware and all kinds of novel ways to do what we do. We also appreciate the fact that many of you read us via RSS or even the iPhone. To that end, here's a list of the many ways to enjoy TUAW in all its myriad forms. If you think we're missing something spectacular, let us know in the comments.

Heeeere's TUAW, in reverse order of no particular importance:

#14 - TUAW on Facebook

We can't really ignore one of the biggest social networks in the world, can we? For weeks I teased the iPhone app on Facebook, and a few of you caught it. We've also been posting deals, newsy tidbits and videos on there. It's a good way to share items, but so far we've kept our RSS out of it. It's entirely likely that we'll put more teasers on Facebook in the future. Let us know in the comments if you'd like to see more or less Facebook interaction overall.

#13 - TUAW on Tumblr

This has been fun. It's so easy to share stuff on Tumblr that a few of us have simply let the bookmarklet do the talking. We see something cool or useful or worth a mention; within seconds it is on our Tumblr page. If you're looking for something a little off-the-menu at times, this is a good place to look.

#12 - TUAW on Flickr

On the right we have a little widget that shows the last three items on Flickr tagged "TUAW" -- so try it! Sometimes we run a "Flickr Find" post showing a crazy Mac setup, so don't be bashful about your workspace. We weren't. You can check out our TUAW rig Flickr pool here.

#11 - TUAW on Video

There's no shortage of TUAW video to choose from. From Blip.tv to Viddler to YouTube and our aggregator VodPod, there's quite the buffet. You can also do a search on Truveo and find our videos across many video sites.

#10 - TUAW on your iPhone

Oh, you haven't heard? TUAW has an iPhone app. In fact, we broke into the top 100 free apps the weekend we launched. Thanks for that, TUAW fans!

#9 - TUAW on Twitter

Of course we're on Twitter, you silly Billy. We have our primary Twitter account, where we'll share cool posts and other fun things, and our Ask TUAW account where you get to ask us Mac, iPhone, iPod and mystery-of-life questions (and hopefully get an answer).

#8 - TUAW on Kindle

What? Yes, we are on the Kindle. Life is strange that way.

#7 - TUAW on Stitcher and TalkShoe

In case you've been hiding every Sunday, we do a regular live Talkcast on TalkShoe. It's a hoot, and you get to chime in via phone, live each week. Once that show is "in the can" and uploaded to iTunes, etc. we also appear on iTunes and in Stitcher. That's handy, given the awesome Stitcher app.

#6 - TUAW on your body

Or surrounding your coffee, your head, your chef and your valuables with the mugs, shirts and other branded tchotchkes available on CafePress.

#5 - TUAW tag and category pages

At the top and bottom of each post you'll see "Filed under" and "Tags" showing you the appropriate keywords for our articles. Categories are mostly fixed in that they represent fairly discrete things: a software update, an event, Steve Jobs, and so on. We also put our semi-regular columns like Friday Favorite and Mac 101 into our categories.

Tags, on the other hand, are a folksonomy and vary from post to post. You may find some utility by looking at tags like giveaway and macworld09. We also try to make sure that individual product names and vendors are consistently tagged.

#4 - TUAW's RSS feeds

There's the main TUAW feed, of course, and feeds for each author listed by our names on each post. But did you know practically anything is a feed? Just take any of the category or tag URL's mentioned above and add "rss.xml" (without quotes) to the end. Voila! A ready-made RSS feed for your favorite tag or category.

One oft-requested feed is for our No-iPhone pages, so here's a direct link to that, ye iPhone haters.

#3 - m.tuaw.com - or "tuaw mini"

We don't mean "Mac" mini, either. The m.tuaw site has been around for quite a while, as it was our original redirect for mobile phones. It is still kickin' for you BlackBerry, WinMo and other platform users still residing in another, simpler era.

#2 - i.tuaw.com - or "tuaw nano"

I know a lot of people loathe mobile sites, since Mobile Safari was supposed to make the "whole internet" fit in your pocket or something. But the practical reality is that our full site was causing some Safari crashes and so we made the decision to push everyone into a lighter experience. You can now get to the full site from the TUAW iPhone app, however. We are also actively working on some nice improvements to the iPhone-optimized pages, so stay tuned. (Hint: Bellowing about what you hate in the comments won't make us move any faster, sorry, but we do appreciate the feedback)

#1 - TUAW.com

Yeah, you are likely soaking in it now. However, if you haven't been to the full site in a while, you're missing out. For example, there's our handy Tip of the Day feature on the right, and just below that is a new "Deals of the Day" module powered by DealNews.

Plus, our top nav has handy shortcuts to Engadget, Joystiq, Switched, Download Squad and some key sections of TUAW, including our oft-requested No-iPhone pages and our new App Hub (beta). Our search tool works better than ever, and we've got handy links to some of the places I've mentioned right here in the magical "right rail" of the site.

Again, if there's a service or site you'd like to see us on, leave it in the comments.
