One Shots: Out sightseeing
With the news that Lord of the Rings Online will be shifting to a free-to-play model, there's talk burbling in the Massively chatroom these days about planning some type of event where the Massively Mob can run amok in Tolkien's story. Among the numerous ideas were dances, concerts, and sightseeing trips around the lands of Middle-earth. With that said, any trip would be lackluster without taking a run by today's One Shots location captured by Jason L in Lord of the Rings Online. If you haven't figured out where this area is by now, we'll let Jason clue you in:
"I'm sure others have sent screenshots of this, but I always stop what I'm doing and stare when passing by Amon Sûl. It's such an iconic place in Middle-earth. Turbine did an excellent job of capturing the look and feel of Middle-earth."
