World of Tanks splits site into two portals

As development continues on the upcoming heavy-metal explosion-fest, World of Tanks, the team at Wargaming.net has rolled out an update to their website, creating a nice two-pronged site for those curious about the game. The first half of the newly updated site is the promo site, which contains screenshots, exclusive video and trailers, and links to all manner of interviews from various news outlets focused on the MMOGsphere. This first half of the site will also eventually feature a fansite kit, and the "Tankopedia," which will give players all the details and art for the 150 different tanks that will be in World of Tanks.

Meanwhile, the second World of Tanks site is the community portal, offering a place to hang out for those who are already familiar enough with the general game, and are planning on heading towards the fields in their rolling fortresses. This portal is an updated version of the original, offering news, forums, polls, and the normal goodies one can expect in an MMO site. On this side of the portal, you'll also find a feed for contests, and the ability to address your questions directly to the folks at Wargaming.net.

So, if you've been waiting to hear more details, check out the two new parts on the World of Tanks split site -- then pop over to the forums and leave your questions for the developers!
