NintendoWare Weekly: Gods vs. Humans, Go Series Pinball Attack

The highlight among this week's downloadable Wii and DS games appears to be Gods vs. Humans, a strategy game about keeping your followers in their place by destroying the towers they're building ... to reach you. When not punishing mortals for their hubris, you can make musical tributes to yourself in the other WiiWare offering, Mix Superstar.

DSiWare offers a slot machine game, a ... scrolling pinball adventure shmup, and, um, Discolight. Which is a virtual disco light. Yes, of course it's by the makers of Flashlight.%Gallery-106980%

WiiWare

  • Gods vs. Humans (Zallag, 1-2 players, 1,200 Wii Points): As a god from one of four mythological traditions, it's up to you to prevent the humans from building towers to enter your domain -- without killing them, because you still want them to worship you and all.

  • Mix Superstar (Digital Leisure, 1 player, 500 Wii Points): Record your own music using a selection of over 1,000 samples. You can even add vocals with a Logitech USB mic ... or the Wii Speak.

DSiWare

  • Go Series Pinball Attack (Gamebridge, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): A pinball adventure through undersea, subterranean, jungle and space levels, developed by Dragon Quest IV/V/VI DS dev Artepiazza.

  • Adventure in Vegas: Slot Machine (Gamelion, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): A collection of three virtual slot machines. Sit down and play for some virtual money.

  • Discolight (Kaasa, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): The followup to the hit Flashlight, Discolight puts colored light on the screen that changes in time with your music.
