Child's Play 2010 passes $1 million in donations
The gaming community's collective back is in desperate need of a thorough patting -- with recent donations raked in by events like the Desert Bus for Hope marathon and the Penny Arcade auction dinner, the total for Child's Play donations has reached 1.2 million American dollars.
That doesn't mean that you should stop donating -- in fact, the organization still needs a bit more fungible support to beat last year's total of $1.7 million. You don't want history to remember 2010 as the year we all became less charitable, do you? That would be humiliating.
