Macworld 2010: Visiting with Verbatim
The products on display at the Verbatim booth, not surprisingly, all centered around storage: both solid-state and magnetic devices were featured, including the wicked small "Tuff & Tiny" USB drives, which deliver capacities between 2 and 16 GB in a size more appropriate to a fake fingernail than a portable flash drive.
The company is also offering several portable hard drive models, including the SureFire with Firewire 800 connectivity for best Mac performance. The warranty on most newly-purchased Verbatim drives has been extended to 7 years -- by then, a 500 GB drive will undoubtedly seem very small.
