Final Fantasy XIV trailer shows off mundane aspects of Eorzean life

Hey, life in Final Fantasy XIV's lush, dangerous world of Eorzea isn't all boss battles and summons, you know? Sometimes, folks need to slow their roll, and go for a stroll in the city. Maybe slice up a few onions. Hit up the bakery for some fresh-baked goods. Is it terribly exciting stuff? Not particularly -- but it's the subject of the game's latest trailer, which we've posted after the jump.

The non-combat world still looks pretty interesting, but a little action would have gone a long way. For instance, you know who could have helped slice up those onions? Odin. Just get yourself a pile of Sweet Vidalias, pull a quick Zantetsuken, and then boom -- you got yourself a delicious Awesome Blossom™.
