Marvel vs. Capcom 3 launches on February 15, 2011

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will determine the fate of two worlds when it launches in North America on February 15, 2011 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. (It'll come out in Europe on February 18.) Capcom has confirmed the launch date alongside the Special Edition, which Gamestop outed early this morning. The Special Edition contains a steelbook case, a prologue comic, a one-month subscription to Marvel's online comic service and a download voucher, and signals the game's first DLC characters.

Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath will become available for purchase and download four weeks after the debut of Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but you'll get them for free if you grab the $69.99 Special Edition. Galleries of the MvC3 special edition, along with She-Hulk and Zero (announced yesterday), can be found after the break.
