Fletcher asked:

In 4.2 we see Malfurion getting all buddy-buddy with Thrall and playing Yoda to Thrall's Skywalker. We see druids who think the night elves should be actually taking the fight to the Horde in Ashenvale turned into disposable mooks for Ragnaros. Is there any bloody chance we'll ever actually see the Night Elves kick butt and take names like they did in WC3?

It sure would be nice. I have a very hard time understanding some of the politics as they stand in Warcraft right now because of the weird racial affiliations going on. Most of the tauren are on board with the Horde and their cause and motives, except for many of the druids who have more sympathy for their ancestral alliances with their druidic night elven compatriots. The Thrall and Malfurion relationship is the most perplexing to me, however.

Here you have two of the most powerful beings on Azeroth closely tied to the leadership of their respective factions -- Thrall used to be the warchief and still has some weight amongst the Horde races, and Malfurion is married to Tyrande who is the leader of the night elves. The orcs and the night elves, however, are locked in ruthless combat in half of Kalimdor, with the night elves losing a ton of territory, forests set ablaze, and whole populations succumbing to the war machine from Orgrimmar. The fact that Malfurion can stand in front of one of the people responsible for a good amount of that in many ways is just weird to me. Doesn't that just seem weird?

"Hey, Thrall, buddy. Listen up. So, we're here trying to protect Hyjal and losing a lot of people to these fire elementals. Do you think, maybe, for a couple minutes, you could ask Garrosh and the Horde in general to not burn our houses to the ground? Thanks."

What the hell do Malfurion and Tyrande talk about before going to sleep at night? "Honey, did you ask Thrall to talk to his friend Garrosh about not killing our people so much?" "No. Not today. I had to, um, go to the Santuary of Malorne." "You could save so many lives if you just asked politely or, I don't know, weren't such a huge tool and would man up." "I'll do it tomorrow, I swear."

hillbillyrod asked:

How is it that the fishing tournament are usually over in 10 minutes. The one today was over in 8 minutes. I don't play every week just when I remember and have time. However the highest number I ever fish up is 29 before the tournament is over. Is there a glitch or something wrong with it.

A LOT of people do the fishing tournaments still. They are actually some of the best "extra" content WoW has done, in my opinion. Players working on the "Salty" title need to win one of the fishing tournaments, so there is always competition. Plus, dedicated players put their hearths in the turn-in cities and get their friends to help with strategic locations. If you're on a PvP server, this gets even more hilarious. The reason people win the fishing tournament so fast is that there still is a lot of competition.

Just to make some of you angry, once I flew into Stranglethorn about 2 minutes after the tournament started, completely forgetting that it was happening that day. Casually I rode out to the coast, fished up enough fishes, and won by accident.

Slaytanic asked:

What's the order of bosses that we are looking at in Firelands?

The first four raid bosses in patch 4.2 are open in terms of order that you kill them -- Lord Rhyolith, Shannox, Beth'tilac, and Alysrazor. Once those four bosses are down it is a linear progression at Sulfuron Keep with Baelroc, Majordomo Staghelm, and finally Ragnaros.

I am a fan of this system because it lets your raid concentrate on different aspects of raiding and play to your groups' strengths. If you're having trouble on Rhyolith with DPS-switching, for instance, you could move to a different fight as to not burn yourself out on linear progression.
