Apple Q3 2011 financial call set for July 19

In what will no doubt be yet another call to highlight increased sales across the board (well, maybe, iPod sales appear to be falling) and yet more record profits, Apple has sent out a press release informing us that their third quarter 2011 fiscal year conference call will happen next week, Tuesday, July 19, 2011, 2:00 p.m. PDT/5:00 p.m. EDT. We'll have our usual liveblog extravaganza during the live call, but we won't be in the room so we can't ask questions like, "When the is iPad 3 shipping?" and other nonsensical queries to the tight-lipped Cupertino company.

Check out the full press release below. Of course, Q2 ushered in the iPad 2, but the third quarter will be the first full quarter to enjoy the spoils of that success. May saw the release of iMacs with Thunderbolt, although I'd say most consumers didn't jump on an iMac for that reason, and then there was the new Time Capsule and Airport Extreme Base Station (which only we geeks were really keeping tabs on since there was very little difference from the previous version).
