Hamilton's Great Adventure (finally) coming to PSN August 23
You probably won't be surprised to hear that Fatshark's PSN explorer-and-bird treasure hunting expedition, Hamilton's Great Adventure, won't be arriving on time -- because "on time" would have been April and that deadline has passed. A subsequent July release date also sailed on by.
Today, Fatshark announced a new release date, slyly blaming the delay on protagonist Ernest Hamilton taking five weeks of paid vacation. It'll now be released on August 23 in North America and August 24 in the rest of the world -- just in time to compete with Street Fighter 3. But if you don't want to wait, you can check out the PC version that came out in May.

FIVE WEEKS OF PAID VACATION IS OVER
HAMILTON IS HERE TO TAKE ON A PSN ADVENTURE
STOCKHOLM, Sweden. August 8, 2011. One of many great things about Sweden is the fact that everybody has five weeks of paid vacation. Yes really. That means that most people take the – for Sweden – hottest summer month off, and that is something that our good friend Ernest Hamilton has picked up on. So, he could not be bothered with any sort of adventure during July spilling over to August.
"We planned to have Hamilton's Great Adventure out on PlayStation®Network in July, but as Ernest was away working on his tan we decided to move the release to August." Says Martin Wahlund, CEO and Executive Producer, Fatshark. "Then he could not do the first couple of weeks in August as he was at some music festival in Norrbotten, and we decided to go with August 23rd and 24th".

Hamilton's Great Adventure will be available on Playstation®Network from August 23rd in North America, and August 24th in the rest of the world.
