Rotastic latches onto XBLA September 21


Rotastic finally has a release date. The peg-swinging, rope-cutting, gem-collecting, erm ... sim(?) will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade on September 21 for a cool 800 MS Points ($10). Eager PSN and PC players can take Rotastic for a spin in early 2012.

Rotastic, the highly addictive 2D Arcade game developed by Dancing Dots, today announced its release date on Xbox LIVE® Arcade, along with unveiling 4 brand new screenshots!

Rotastic will arrive on your Xbox 360 through LIVE® Arcade on September 21st, for a mere 800 MS Points! We invite you to discover the 4 exclusive screenshots released today, showing more of this original and easy-to-learn game which promises all players a refreshing gaming experience, along with a huge dose of fun!

Rotastic is a game that doesn't take itself too seriously. Behind very simple swinging mechanics, hides deep gameplay with numerous ways to challenge your reflexes, ingenuity, and skills! Collect items, escape deadly traps, send your opponents flying to their doom, smash bricks, execute aerial acrobatics, burst chickens to dust and feathers, or top the fastest speedruns! The solo campaign spreading across 7 worlds and nearly 70 levels offers hours of fun, with a wide range of gameplay to provide replayability! Pit your skills against your friends and the players from around the world by beating the best scores for each level!

Multiplayer is where Rotastic truly shines! Up to 4 players may battle in local games: in ruthless Deathmatches or Item Collect, games are always intense and full of fun, as players nab gems and slice each other's ropes, sending them flying into the bottomless pit below!

Rotastic will be available on September 21st on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for 800 MS points. The game will be available Q1 2012 on PlayStation® Network and for download on PC.
