Pac Man Fever's Gary Garcia passes away

You may have wondered why we gave such a hoot about the Pac-Man Fever album coming to Rock Band. It's a treasure of our childhood, one of those timeless albums we rocked out to many a night, and perhaps the duo's best-known album. Well, we're sad to report that Gary Garcia, half of Buckner and Garcia, the duo responsible for the album and many others, has passed away.

News broke via the duo's website, where Jerry Buckner wrote a lengthy eulogy honoring his friend and musical partner. The two had apparently known each other for over 50 years. Our sympathies go out to family and friends affected by this loss.
