Tales of Monkey Island Episode 1 free on iPhone for a limited time
Celebrating the release of Monkey Island Tales Episode 2 and 3 on iPhone (all five Episodes have been available on iPad for some time now), Telltale is offering the first episode free of charge for a limited time. We should mention that's iPhone only; Monkey Island Tales isn't universal and the iPad app will still set you back $2.99.
Episodes 2 and 3 have also been cleared for iPhone -- Episode 2 is available right now and Episode 3 will be available on December 22.

Telltale Games is firing a shot across your bow to announce that the next two episodes in their Monkey Island Tales game series for iPhone be coming at ya like a cannonball! That's right, The Siege of Spinner Cay (Episode 2) be available on the App Store now and Lair of the Leviathan (Episode 3) hoists the main brace on December 22. And, ye won't have to set aside a pile of booty as each episode is only $4.99 each!

Monkey Island Tales Episode 2: The Siege of Spinner Cay
Guybrush's adventures continue on the high seas as pox-plagued pirates lay siege to the innocent Mer-People. In between defending and dodging the persistent pirate hunter hot on his trail, Guybrush manages to catch up to his beloved wife and despised arch-nemesis -- but their reunion is short-lived. Now Guybrush must focus on eradicating the Pox of LeChuck before more harm can be done. And as the Mighty Pirate draws closer to a cure, the waters will only grow murkier in this thrilling chapter of the epic saga.
Monkey Island Tales Episode 3: Lair of the Leviathan
Guybrush gets in deep (literally!) as his quest for the voodoo exfoliating La Esponja Grande takes a scenic twist -- through the guts of a giant manatee! Trapped in the belly of the beast, our hero encounters a surprising band of castaways, including the long-lost (and obsessive-compulsive) explorer Coronado De Cava. Can the Mighty Pirate win the suspicious De Cava's trust? Will femme fatale pirate hunter Morgan LeFlay prove to be a ruthless enemy, or an unlikely ally? Will the group find La Esponja Grande in time to save Elaine from the rampant Pox of LeChuck? And will the world be crushed by the gnashing teeth of a certain demonic skull?
