The Queue: The rum ham mix-up

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

Look, we're sorry Mat, OK? The ham bomb was an accident. It wasn't supposed to happen like that. We thought Sacco or Fox would be over hanging out.

And it was supposed to be a rum ham, anyway.

Guy commented:

What I find funny is, before Cata, everyone asked for GS, not it is iLVL, but GS has actually taken spec into acct. If I am a tank and have all caster gear on it will lower my GS, while my iLV could still be amazing. I sort of hope iLVL will take spec into acct come next expansion. The game already knows what the intended spec for gear, so a iLVL tweak can help.

It wouldn't surprise me if it did. But that being said, it just goes to show what Blizzard has always said -- there's no good measure of exactly how a player will perform. Just as I knew people in Wrath with insanely good gear scores who were awful, I know players in Cataclysm with insanely good item levels who are equally as god-awful (if not more so now that AoE isn't a thing anymore).

Twowolves asked:

Since there is no big bad in MoP and the focus is on the new Horde/Alliance war, I would love to see the characters from the Vanilla and TBC cinematics make a return appearance in the MoP cinematic. What do you think the chances are of that happening?

I agree the answer Mat gave in the comments yesterday:

I have a feeling that this cinematic will be very much about the Pandaren and their homeland. I'd love to see those guys make a comeback, though. I loved the "player" inclusion in the cinematics, but the Arthas one was just so awesome and the Cataclysm one was "on-point."

We just gotta wait and see.

Telwar commented:

I just tried to copy over my WoW folder from old pc to new using my 32gb USB drive, and it didn't work. So, I went and redownloaded everything from Blizzard last night. Didn't cost me anything but time, and I did that overnight anyway.

Just want to point out that you've likely encountered an error while copying over the data. It most likely happened either on your network or via whatever medium you were copying it over with. I've never had WoW give me an error after copying it over that wasn't a result of something on my end.

Brian asked:

My girlfriend and I are leveling new characters right now and I don't know which to level, I have at 85 a warrior tank, a druid healer and a resto shaman for pvp and she has an 85 hunter. She is leveling a resto shaman and is at level 37 right now, I have a level 35 rogue and a level 37 mage, both have all heirlooms. Which should I level with her? The rogue or the mage? Which is at a better state of dps right now?

Everything is pretty balanced at the endgame for most people (yes, not you 1% that can do ZOMG DPS and push Blizzard's balancing past the limit). That being said, I think ranged players generally have an easier time with moving and continuing to put out DPS than melee players do, and some of the encounters later in game seem a bit more conductive to ranged DPS than melee. Go with the mage.

Greg asked:

If you are going to name your hard drives after types of bears, what kind of list of bears would I be looking at? And what would your top five be? I'd go with Huggy Bear as one of mine.

I grew up around White Bear Lake, Minn. -- went to high school there and what not, so that'd be one. For the complete list:

  1. White Bear

  2. Spectacled Bear

  3. Kermonde Bear

  4. Ussuri Bear

  5. Gobi Bear
