The Queue: Shoulder on

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Anybody remember Orc Shouldergate? I was a GM at the time, and I can confirm that literally nobody ever shut up about those orc shoulders.

Major Buzzkill asked:

Has Blizz said anything about making the Therazane shoulder enchants BoA? I know this has been asked before, but I've yet to see a definitive answer from a Blue. I'd love the enchants for alts, but have little interest in grinding it again.

Unfortunately, no, Blizzard hasn't said a single thing confirming that it's making those enchants BoA. I wish it would, though, because at this point in the expansion's lifespan, the odds of my going through Therazane's entire quest line again are pretty much nil. It seems odd that the change hasn't already been made. I just know it makes me sad to look at my alt's unenchanted Dragon Soul shoulders.

Vacasta asked:

Hey, any chance [1. Local] will ever come back? Highlights of the community's comments are just plain awesome.

We don't currently have plans to bring back [1. Local], but you never know.

Welldead asked:

are frost dk's top dps compared to other dps class in Dragon soul? (i.e. rogue, hunter, mage, shaman?)

Commenter Pyromelter (speaking of good comments) has you covered:

A quick review of the 25man normal Dragon Soul raid numbers on world of logs is showing combat Rogues and Fire Mages as the top performers so far in 4.3. Withoug parsing huge amounts of numbers, it looks like both unholy and frost DK's are holding up fairly well, and if I'm looking at all the numbers right, I'd say that unholy is doing slightly better on single-target fights (ultraxion), and frost is slightly better on aoe fights (spine of deathwing).

Others doing well on single target: both warrior specs, shadow priests, moonkin, elemental and enhance shaman, arcane mages, all 3 warlock specs.

wowsitemail asked:

If you look in the Greench's cave, to the left of the tree there's a wind-up clockwork dog. Is that model available anywhere as a pet or toy? Has it always been in the game, or is it a sign of things to come?

It's new for this patch, and it isn't yet available as an item, though I certainly wish it were! I love corgis, especially the big, fat, stupid corgi currently sitting on my couch snoring with a marrow bone still in his mouth.

Revynn asked:

Ive been gathering the Ornate Weapon, Monstrous Egg, etc quest items for when the DMF comes back into town (not buying them, but just grabbing them when they drop off a boss and holding on to them instead of putting them on the AH) and have ended up with a couple duplicates. I think at this point I have 2 Monstrous Eggs, 3 Ornate Weapons and 2 Crystals.

Are these turn ins repeatable? Monthly? Or should I get rid of duplicate drops?

They're able to be turned in once per Faire session, so functionally once per month. If you have a duplicate, sell it! You'll undoubtedly find another one when the next Faire comes to town.
