WRUP: Coming to America

This weekend we welcome one Ludwig Kietzmann to our teeming shores, the amber waves of grain sweeping him into the bosom of his new land. Where the streets are paved with gold and every house has abundant supplies of Bagel Bites and Pizza Rolls. Welcome, Mr. Kietzmann, make sure to stand upon your balcony above the streets of San Francisco and shout, "Good morning, my neighbors!"

What's everyone playing?

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): It's time to open that copy of Mortal Kombat I got a month ago.

  • Ben Gilbert (@RealBenGilbert): My journey through Super Mario 3D Land continues, though I'm finding the same disconnect I did with the Galaxy games. It's weird! Also, I should probably play these copies of AC: Revelations and Rage, but, uh, I still haven't finished Skyrim. Nearly at 100 hours! I need to break the disc!

  • David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I will be playing the game of showing my boss where he lives in San Francisco. Then I might play DOA 4 with him, which is super exciting because NO LAG!

  • JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I really hope to spend more time with Zelda this weekend, though I foresee most of my gaming time going into five-minute Bionic Commando sessions.

  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): I had a love-hate relationship with the Steam Holiday Sale, wherein it loved me, I loved it, and we both hated praline ice cream. I'll probably start with L.A. Noire because I enjoy playing as a detective in a game I practically stole.

  • Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): Silent Hill HD Collection, unless it doesn't show up, in which case I'll spend the weekend shouting at things and putting buckets on small business owners.

  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): [leaving on a jet plane, don't know if he'll come back again.]

  • Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): Grinding away in Modern Warfare 3, SW:TOR, and LoL, all while packing for Las Vegas and CES next week.

  • Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): It's getting hard to keep track, so let's say Skyrim, Skyward Sword, The Old Republic and ... maybe Phantasmagoria? X-COM? Sure.

  • Steven Wong: Making up for the games I didn't have time to play in 2011, starting with Modern Warfare 3.
