WRUP: So tired, dawg

Why is so much happening in January?! Two thirds of the way through the month and we've had SOPA, PIPA, Microsoft security concerns, new game announcements, delays and release dates. Time to find a big, fuzzy blanket and alternate this weekend away between naps and games.

What's everyone playing?

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Having finished Uncharted 3, the end of 2011 continues with Saints Row 3 and a continued attempt to open that copy of Mortal Kombat.
  • Ben Gilbert (@RealBenGilbert): Super Mario 3DS continues to be a game I don't quite understand, but I do keep playing it. I've also got high hopes that I'll start playing something on my consoles again at some point, but who knows!
  • David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): [Entertaining the 'rents]
  • JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I don't even notice when I start a game of Puzzlejuice anymore. I just look at my phone, and Puzzlejuice is open, and I'm halfway into a word.
  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): I'll be playing this absolutely terrible, frustrating game called "Moving Across Town." I've been playing the tutorial -- "Packing" -- this entire week, and I'm beginning to question why I play at all. And then I remember how super-sweet my new apartment is, and I keep going. Like an addict. A box addict.
  • Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): I'm going to do my best to play literally any video game I own this weekend, since I haven't had time to accomplish that feat in the last few weeks. I don't even know what day it is anymore. Has anyone seen my medicine? I think this nurse is stealing from me Sarah, I can't find my wedding ring. I sure do love it when you kids come to visit, though.
  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I probably shouldn't move 10,000 miles just to sit in an apartment and play a game ... but yeah, I'm playing more Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
  • Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): I finally bought the WoW Annual Pass, so I'm leveling my Pally to 85 for the heck of it. Elsewhere, Hero Academy (I'm toucansamurai) and TripleTown on iOS are stealing all of my other free time.
  • Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): I've gotten back into old school X-COM between posts here at Joystiq. In the off hours, some Old Republic and yet more Zelda: Skyward Sword. Such great boss fights.
  • Steven Wong: Returning to Skyrim for a bit, and will probably get in some time with SWTOR too.
