WRUP: Supplies are limited -- act now

Every week, just at the start of the weekend, we catch up with the WoW Insider staff and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" -- otherwise known as: WRUP. Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game, and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!

At my age, there's nothing I treasure more than spending time with my grandkids. But my overactive bladder has ... other ideas. It used to stop me in my tracks. Now, thanks to my little secret -- WRUP -- I can get back out there and start enjoying life again. What a terrific National Secretaries' Day gift!

And making eggs? What a hassle! First you need to get water! Then you need to turn on the stove, risking severe burns and structure fires! Isn't there an easier way? Now, there is -- WRUP! What aRe yoU Playing uses space-age technology to make cooking eggs a breeze. Makes a great graduation gift.

This commemorative WRUP is struck in 24-karat gold. You and your family can cherish the memory of what your favorite WoW Insider writers were playing on Feb. 11 and 12, 2012. What a great way to teach your children video gaming history. One or two WRUPs is not enough -- you're going to want to buy three, five, 10, or more. Because once this WRUP is minted, it will never be minted again. Makes a great Arbor Day gift!

If there's one company that's mastered the art of the promotional tie-in better than us here at WoW Insider, it's Blizzard. There are promotional WoW drinking cups. There are shirts. Plushies. And soon, there is even going to be a World of Warcraft Monopoly game. It left us asking the question: What's next?

So in addition to the usual What are you playing? question, that's precisely what I asked our columnists: What promotional tie-in will Blizzard come up with next?

Alex Ziebart (@AlexZiebart) Mass Effect Marathon! I lost my original Shepard in the Great Computer Crisis of Late 2011, so I need to recreate her before Mass Effect 3 comes along. And considering the Mass Effect 3 demo releases next week ...

As far as the bonus question goes, I still want to see World of Warcraft-licensed Hungry Man dinners.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I'm hopefully going to be installing a bookcase, depending on whether or not I can effectively walk by this weekend. No more crutches, though, so I'm hoping for the best! As for games, more raiding in WoW, and I might duck into Skyrim and play a bit of that, it's been woefully underplayed for the past couple of weeks. Bonus question: I'd like to see some official WoW window decals and the like. I got the one on my car from Amazon, but it wasn't a Blizzard product. It's still nice, though!

Brian Wood (@Frostheim) Wandering Azeroth a bit planning for next WHU in-game event.

Next WoW licensed product -- what I'd really like to see is ... a WoW movie? Some time?

Chase Hasbrouck (@alarondruid) Initial back-to-work crunch is settling down, so a bit more time to do other stuff, like play Super Mario Galaxy 2 with my son. I've tried to get in some Red Dead Redemption at night, but the brilliant art design and production quality can't conceal the fact that the underlying game mechanics are fairly stale (obligatory xkcd). Bonus: WoW/KFC cross-promotion. With max cooking skill, the chicken pets can be turned into Extra Tasty Crispy via a campfire; simultaneously, the new Leeroy Jenkins Grab-and-Go buckets are introduced in-store.

Dan Desmond (@Antigen_) Unfortunately, this is looking like the weekend I get my taxes in order, so that will eat up a day or so, but with the rest of my time I'll be bouncing between HMs in SWTOR, duels with a friend in Magic 2012, and perhaps replaying ME2 in anticipation of its sequel, which coincidentally releases on my birthday. *cough cough*

I think Blizzard could make a fortune off WoW toilet paper with your chosen faction leader's face on it. I imagine Garrosh would be a popular choice!

Dawn Moore (@DawnWoW) Reunited with my PC, so I'll be playing a bunch of games this weekend. I'm thinking Skyrim. I'm also staging a new Eberron campaign with some friends on Saturday night.

WoW needs an animated TV show. Not like the Super Mario Bros. Super Show ... More like the Saturday morning Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon on ABC from the '90s. Starts lighthearted and slowly grows darker and complex. Probably draw in a little anime influence in the animation style to pull in the otaku and increase WoW cosplay. Since the movie may never come.

Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives) I am really, really enjoying Kingdoms of Amalur, so I suspect I'll just be playing that.

For the bonus question, we need WoW nursery decorations. Having spent the week staring at duckies and bunnies and such at various stores, I would kill for a Warcraft-themed nursery, with a quilt of all the different races, a mobile of severed heads and portraits of Tyrande and Sylvanas for the wall. In reality, I have a bunch of blacklight Futurama posters that we will probably use for the nursery, because I am too lazy and cheap to buy proper decorations.

Fox Van Allen (@foxvanallen) (gplus.to/foxvanallen) I'll finish up my Raid Finder antics -- trying to keep three characters in endgame shape is tough going. I'll also be playing The Simpsons arcade game that I downloaded on my PS3 this past week. My spare time will go toward some stupid Valentine's Day thing for some stupid whatever jerkface.

Joe Perez (@lodurzj) Working on organizing things after my latest move. I have internet again so I can do things like game again! YAY! Kingdoms of Amalur: The Reckoning, LoL and the ever-exciting game of buying a new couch. I hope I win at that one.

Bonus: WoW-themed feetie pajamas. Make it happen!.

Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra) I really, really want to take it easy this weekend, so I'm hoping to finish Bastion, and not do much else. I missed the Darkmoon Faire again, and I don't really care about Love is in the Air, so...

I personally love trans-marketing. If I like a game/show/whatever enough, you could slap it on anything and I'd buy it. Well, almost anything. If WoW comes out with its own version of this, then I think I'll politely pass.

Lisa Poisso (@LisaPoisso) I am so revolted by Alex's idea of World of Warcraft-licensed Hungry Man dinners that I need to go think about something completely non-WoW for a little while. /belch

Mathew McCurley (@gomatgo) This weekend is going to be spent giving my little Rocky cat all of the love in the world. Thank you all so much for helping with Rocky and his infection costs. I can't thank you enough. I've fallen back in love with WoW (watch for the post soon), and SW:TOR on my trooper has been the best story-driven MMO experience in my life. Oy, why am I not playing right now? Games, games, games.

Honestly, WoW has a lot more places to put itself, commercially/advertising-ly. I'm surprised Blizzard hasn't been more aggressive with its advertising of WoW. That Mountain Dew thing was a gold mine, wasn't it? Come on! I want those ampm cups. Also, I'd go with Alex's WoW Hungry Man dinners. Mmmm ...

Matthew Rossi (@matthewrossi) Gonna finally push on my Jedi Sentinel and play more Let's Dress Up In WoW. I'm putting together a red armor look rather than wearing tier 6 all the time, so far I'm fairly happy with it.

WoW needs an RTS in the Warcraft setting.

Matt Low (@Matticus) So much to do with so little time! Seeing as Mass Effect 3 is going to be out in a little under a month, I need to make sure all of my saves and such are in order.

How about a WoW D&D style game with pens, paper and dice?

Matt Walsh (@Rhidach) I have a lot on my plate this weekend. Some SWTOR, some Minecraft, another shot at seeing if Sword of the Stars II works yet, and replaying Mass Effect 2 (for the PC this time) to get ready for ME3 next month.

As for the bonus: World of Warcraft branded bedpans -- because every second of progression counts!

Michael Gray (@writegray) I might be blowing up Imps. I might be. I might be a Trooper doing that. It could happen. Bonus question: I wish they would make an effective, attractive laptop backpack or laptop bag without the ridiculous padding the StarCraft one had. That was just out of hand.

Olivia Grace (@oliviadgrace) I'm going to be leveling tailoring on my priesty so I can make the PvP gear and getting my backside handed to me in Arena with brand new 85s! I may find some time for a little bit of LA Noire too. And for the bonus, hmmm, I reckon Blizz should make a WoW theme park.

Robin Torres (@cosmiclaurel) I might work on my druid or mage a bit this weekend, but I confess, my SW:TOR operative wants to get one of her companions into bed, and that's going to take some time. Bonus: WoW Underoos and jammies. I want a Lady Sylvanas cami set and Queen Azshara's Dressing Gown.

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play

World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
