WRUP: What summer lull?

Taking a look at our reviews section, it's pretty clear this summer is full of quality content to keep you indoors until winter. Of course, there are already those of us who have a crazy backlog. On that note, how was Max Payne 3?

What's everyone playing this weekend?

• Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Back home with a couch and console. Finally going to play Mass Effect 3 with my Oprah Shepard.

• Ben Gilbert (@RealBenGilbert): I'm going biking on Roosevelt Island and potentially some form of rafting in Pennsylvania. Somewhere in there, I'll get super, super mad at Spelunky (you seriously want a damn key, tunnel man?!), and probably do some kickflips in Tony Hawk.

• David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I'll be seeing Dark Knight Rises tonight with friends, but the majority of my weekend should include galaxy trekking with Commander Shepard and his stalwart companion, Wall of the Dead. So many names! So. Many. Names.

• JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): Going out of town this weekend, which gives me lots of time to play Tumble Pop on 3DS. I immediately got hooked the first time I played it, and I have no idea why. I'm really looking forward to some Tumble Pop time.

• Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): I'm going on a road trip to see a friend and record some hip-hop this weekend, so I'll be playing Super Memorize Your Lyrics On The Drive Up 2012.

• Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I presume I'll still be incapacitated by Tonsillitis (not a game), so I'm sleeping as much as possible.

• Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): I finally picked up Mass Effect 3 (after hearing nonstop spoilers about it during a Comic-Con panel), so it's time for Commander Michael Shepard and crew to finish their story.

• Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek): NCAA 13, even though I'm mad at it right now, and I'm going back to crush my deep backlog. So... Indigo Prophecy.

• Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM): Between galavanting about The Secret World, plumbing the depths of Spelunky and Great Big War on my BRAND NEW NEXUS 7, I've got far too much to do. I'll probably just wind up watching Breaking Bad anyway.

• Steven Wong: Picked up a bunch of games during the Steam Summer Sale, and I honestly don't know where to begin. Maybe I'll finally play through Saints Row: The Third.
