Minecraft developer's profits to double this year
Minecraft developer Mojang is on track to have a profit of $18 million this year, according to CEO Carl Manneh. MCV Nordic reports (via IT24) that the company had $82 million in sales last year, with Minecraft its only product.
The Minecraft phenomenon keeps chugging along, with the PC's 1.3 update recently released. The Xbox version recently passed three million sales, and is currently selling approximately 17,000 copies daily, along with receiving regular support. Mojang also recently announced that this year's Minecon will take place in Euro Disneyland this November.
