With every patch taking us further and further away from vanilla WoW, more and more people like to slam on those rose-colored glasses. Newer players look around and ask, "What was so special about vanilla?" It can be tough to answer that question; after all, that was years ago. Kids born during vanilla just went back to school this week. Not to school. Back to school.

So Wowcrendor -- that Sultan of Sarcasm, that Idol of Irony - - summed up Vanilla WoW in a Minute. And yes. It was fairly like that. Pay attention to the tauren complaining about the lack of sunlight. That's exactly what PvP was like.
