The Queue: Thrown out a window

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Beverly Hills Cop is on Netflix Instant now and you basically have no excuse for not watching it.

Exogenesis3 asked:

Is it expected that Blizzard might one day overhaul the character creation process and give us colour palettes/sliders to choose our own shades for skin/hair/eyes? It seems that WoW has been left behind in the dust when it comes to this, and I know I'd much prefer being able to pick my own choice of colour rather than the same every time.

One can only hope that whatever options we get for customization are far superior to what we have now. Any other major MMO of the last half-decade has options like this; it's time for WoW to step up.

Paul Lloyd asked:

Sorry, Theramore question.

Since the scenario has now been confirmed as a preview of the system, should we now believe that the events take place after the discovery of Pandaria or before as previously assumed? (or even at the same time?)

The events of the Jaina novel take place prior to the discovery of Pandaria.

Matthew2 asked:

Horde toons get a Mini Mana Bomb as the 'reward' for doing the scneario. Along with a funny letter saying 'Yeah, it's quite inappropriate, but here you go'.

What do alliance players get?

Alliance players get the Theramore Tabard, which has an on-click effect that drops a Theramore flag.

amaxewardiary asked:

I have to wonder about the mana bomb destroying Theramore since the mana bombs in Terrokar (one of the most interesting chains in TBC) killed people but didn't destroy property.

Perhaps the Belfs over there had developed the Neutron Mana Bomb?

Nope! The bomb used against Kirin'Var Village was a regular mana bomb, but the one used against Theramore was empowered by the Focusing Iris, one of the most powerful magical artifacts on the planet. It's the item Malygos said he was going to use to destroy the world "ten times over".

Kesrie asked:

I think I remember hearing last expansion that if your characters wear heirlooms at any point, they aren't eligible for max level server firsts, is this/was this ever true? Would be good to know for my future monk.

It's just a rumor and it's definitely not true.
