One Shots: Wings
Resident Massively Aion columnist MJ Guthrie could sum up the best reason to play her favorite MMO in just one word: wings! That's something reader Leandra plainly echoes in today's featured One Shots submission. She sent us this image of her character soaring through Aion along with this note:
I've been toying around with Aion a bit and took my baby Chanter, Elanyne, for her first flight through the Abyss. I kept an eye out for Elyos, but thankfully (though somewhat disappointingly), I was able to quest in peace. I guess I'll have to level up more and then go looking to pick some fights!
You red, you dead -- that's what I always say! Leandra's flight and a few other reader screenies are tucked beyond the break.
Our next pic is from John, who says he's just returned to Fallen Earth after a year or so away. "This is Nashid, who has just reached level 4," he wrote. "He's doing pretty well but is having a hard time finding a good shirt!"
Here's a game we don't see much of on One Shots: World of Tanks! This screenie's from Damon, who told us it's a shot of his 10-year-old gaming clan, the 8th Panzer Division [8PANZ] forming up for battle in WoT. "8th PANZ -- made with real bits of Panther so you know it's good," he joked.
What's the best thing about this screenshot -- the adorable, bushy-tailed Popori or the breathtaking violet backdrop? If you answered "yes," then you understand the yin and yang of TERA. This pic's of Abku the Popori Priest, whose player raves about the game's graphics: "I just happened to be bopping around the Isle of Dawn doing some field work for my beloved Vanarch when I came across a vista so absolutely stunning that I mashed Prt Scr as hard as I could! What fell into my screenshots folder turned out to be not only the most beautiful screencap I've ever taken in 10-plus years of MMO gameplay but also the most beautiful wallpaper I've ever put on my desktop. TERA isn't just a pretty game. At some points, it can be downright beautiful."
