The Queue LFR puberty

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

I found something out yesterday.

If you're flying around in your two-person rocket mount and your goal is to dismount high up and kill your flying companion, you can't. They'll get a parachute and you'll end up dead in a Stormwind fountain.

D'oh.

FBxxk asked:

There is a HUGE amount of people who are rude in LFR... are there any guides to the bosses?

I want to know what the hell it is with LFR groups. The pure childishness of people comes out in them like nothing else in WoW. I've seen some of the worst behavior possible in- and out-of-game while I've been in LFR. One time some mouth breather started yelling in DS LFR "Let's make a swastika with the chain lightning!" and proceeded to get upset when only five other people joined in.

Another time a vote to kick was initiated, and passed, for a tank not doing enough damage on Morchock -- after the boss was killed.

Then there's just the general asshattery that happens when you put what must be every newly pubescent teenager on the planet in one room together. I can't even repeat what I've heard there.

Anyways, yeah... LFR. Love the concept, hate the majority of the players.

(That being said, I have seen some great DPS in LFR, ones that I've gone back and looked at their spell priority and gearing, then used what they're doing to improve my own game.)

Laeleiweyn asked:

Is the "your one character is revered with a certain faction, now all your alts gets twice amount of rep with the same faction"-change active?

Not yet. It looks like it'll become active in patch 5.1, except if they decide to patch it in sooner. Which, to be honest, wouldn't surprise me very much since faction reputation is such a central part of endgame in this expansion.

That said, while the reputation grind is tough, it's not Burning Crusade style tough, so I don't think there's a whole lot to complain about. The fix will be nice though.

Fatherdmo asked:

i was trying to sell a jc mount yesterday. found a buyer for a price. i asked them clearly if they agreed to pay x amount for said mount. they did and so i made the mount. come time to trade they didnt offer anything remotely near asking price and in the end promptly logged leaving me with a crafted mount.

thankfully i took a screen shot of the agreement. i opened a ticket and linked the screen shot.

finally my question:

am a screwed out of the money i could of made, or can something be done because this person refused to hold up hisher end?

That's definitely a borderline case. In some ways I can see you being screwed out of it since there was never any materials exchanged; just words. If he traded you mats for it and said "make this for 50k gold" and then turned around and insisted you take 20k, then it'd be an open and shut case in your favor. But... this is a bit of gray area.

It's the right move to submit the ticket though. Let us know what the GM says. And you don't need to worry about screenshots, they've got logs of everything that was said.

After you hear back from Blizzard, and if they don't step in, then I'd think you wouldn't have too much of a problem selling it on the AH or elsewhere. Especially in a month or so when people have more funds available for trade.
