iPad '4th generation' revealed
During a press event today, Apple revealed the "4th generation" iPad, built around a new "A6X" processor, which doubles the CPU and graphics performance of the iPad, which Engadget says brings the iPad line to parity with iPhone 5 – the connector has been changed to Lightning as well. The FaceTime camera is now 720p.
The 16gb Wi-Fi device will sell for $499. 4G LTE versions will cost $629 to start.
In addition, Apple announced that 100 million iPads have been sold to date.
