The Queue: Insane Superstorm Sandy video

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

Last night wasn't spent glued to leveling my monk, it was spent watching a disaster slowly unfold. Twitter was faster than CNN and other news sources (and just about as accurate), and this video above of a transformer exploding quickly made the rounds. Just insane.

I hope that everyone who's around the storm is safe and sound. WoW players are generally pretty smart, so I'm sure everyone took heed of the evacuation orders or got a proper shelter set up. Stay safe to those there, especially the WI staff members dealing with it all!

Koji asked:

what do you guys think about Rob Pardo's teasing tweet? Any predictions outside of the the "must be legion" talk? Demon hunters?

I think Pardo's announcement is really a whole lot of nothing, which I think I got across in the article I posted about it this weekend (or at least I hope I did). He was really just making an off hand comment about what he's doing at the office, and of course being in the position he's in ... well, his job is to work on the next WoW expansion. So why wouldn't he be making something awesome? I sure hope he is, that's his gig -- and he's damn good at it.

Sometimes the community reads into these things too much. By the time I had posted it on the site, I had already gotten a dozen emails concerning his tweets. Yes, it's neat that he said something about it, but there's really no serious speculation to be had.

Demon hunters? Maybe! Could also be any number of things. I still think Ethereals would be an "awesome" race to have.

Scott asked:

what's up with the "You are in the wrong zone" message everytime i enter a new zone lately?

It's a known bug, and I believe it's fixed in patch 5.1.

Glynn asked:

with this new boost to rep grind is it for all reps or just mop?

So far it's only applicable for MoP factions (you buy an item that unlocks the increased rep gain on your account for the specific faction). I really really hope that it's going to be a retroactive change for the entire game's factions soon. Particularly the PvP-based factions.
