Daily iPad App: Versu lets you play the role of a character in a story

Versu is a living storybook app that adds an interesting twist to its storytelling. Instead of merely reading an engaging tale of love and adventure, users actually get to take part in the story. When you open a book in Versu, you get to choose the character that you want to portray. As the story unravels, you have the opportunity to select how you respond to other characters in the narrative. Your responses influence how the story proceeds and even how it ends.

Versu includes several short books, and you can buy an additional one for US$4.99. It's a new app, so its interactive book catalog is small, but growing. The iPad app is available for free from the iOS App Store.
