The Queue: Memorize

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

Remember Me released back on June 3. The game turned out to not be quite what I was hoping, but the soundtrack is excellent. Do recommend. It's on Spotify!

HerrKlolbok asked:

With the coming of flex raids and the emergence of Virtual Realms, what do you think about cross-faction grouping and/or raiding? Do you think chances are good we might even see cross-faction guilds in the next x-pac (if it indeed is a legion-based x-pac)?

While I would personally like to see cross-faction grouping, Blizzard still seems heavily against that kind of interaction. It wouldn't bother me if such a thing were restricted to people on your Real ID or Battle.net friends list. After 8 years, I think we've all found friends across faction lines and it's a bit silly that we can't actually play with them if we can play with people cross-servers.

Although I understand the need to focus on raiding instead of dungeons, I do hope that they plan more 5-mans for the next expansion. They do NOT have to all be available right at launch. Plan some 5-mans for the beginning of the expansion, some for the middle patch, and some for the end. Just to keep the game feeling fresh while we're working on valor for each stage of the expansion.

I know this wasn't a question, but I decided to pull it out and comment anyway because I agree with you. A few weeks back, a question about dungeons vs. scenarios came up and I made the mistake of laying on my love of scenarios a little too thick. While I love scenarios, I also love dungeons and was disappointed with Pandaria's limited offerings on that front. I'd like to see a strong balance of both in the next expansion, even if we don't get quite as many of them at launch. If we get even one new dungeon per major patch, that would be great.

Puntable1 asked:

Supposedly some players are complaining that the Legendary for 5.4 may be an upgrade to the cloak. Is this because they expected the Legendary to eventually be a weapon?

I've stopped chasing the legendary questline, but I have to admit, the legendary being a cloak is pretty funny. Very few of my characters have their cloaks turned on. Those things are just so ugly in World of Warcraft. A flat rectangle someone colored on with markers? Awesome. Legendary weapons? Awesome. Legendary armor? Cool! Legendary rings? Kind of lame, but you can give the ring finger a sparkle effect or something. There's rings in the game that do that. Legendary cloak? The worst.

Chris asked:

Is anybody else noticing oddly long queues for the holiday boss?

Yep. Doesn't seem to be much interest in him this year.

TobyWC asked:

Do you think Blizz sees pet battles as a success? I have got into them as I don't have much to do in 5.3 and it has been good fun levelling my team of rares and working through the cheevs. It seems that none of my guild battle and pvp queue times seem to be growing, so is this a minority feature that will be left as a pandarian experiment.

I don't know how the PvP side of things is holding up, but the PvE side is extremely popular. They're here to stay.
