The Queue: Violence is a debatable solution

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

Once again, I hope you'll all forgive me for a slow Monday edition of The Queue.

Koboi_K asked:

On top of Bilgewater Harbour, there's a huge cannon. It's such an enormous cannon that it's probably able to shoot bombs and rockets very very far. If you're inside the top building and look into its target window, you can actually see Stormwind in the cross-hairs. With such a powerful weapon in his hands, why hasn't it been used by Garrosh?

If it doesn't come into play in patch 5.4, I think that cannon is one of those things we're meant to ignore in the narrative. It's a cool thing to find while questing through the world and that's it. If we took every piece of technology in the world of Azeroth into narrative consideration, we wouldn't have any raid bosses to fight because we could carpet bomb their lair and leave nothing but a crater behind. The Alliance airships have never used that enormous freaking bomb that dangle out of their underbelly, either.

Anne Stickney asked:

How do you make a particularly repugnant member of your town move out in Animal Crossing

I've only played Animal Crossing for roughly an hour in my entire life, using my significant other's 3DS. I spent much of that time hitting her townsfolk over the head with a net, so maybe try that.

@aramisx asked:

Any word on the virtual ticket for those not able to physically attend @BlizzCon?

Nothing yet, but I imagine we'll hear about it pretty soon.

@mr_killik asked:

Putting on your psychic hat, what will be the biggest complaint about the *next* expansion, both lore and mechanics?

The biggest lore complaint is that the Alliance won't have much of an impact on the Horde-centric narrative. The biggest mechanical plate will be related to some major character customization overhaul, where most people are perfectly cool with it, but a select faction of the playerbase hates it and thinks the game has been dumbed down.
