WRUP: Bonus goat edition

Thank you for reading this week's installment of WRUP. To show our appreciation, we have given you a goat. It's right inside your home this moment, munching on your shower curtain. Go ahead -- peek in the bathroom. He's not a domestic goat, either, so you get to have an exotic pet! An exotic and wild pet with no respect for the rules of human beings and a history of being both aggressive and stubborn. We hope you enjoy your new goat.

Now that goat-related matters are settled, please, settle back and enjoy WRUP, wherein the Massively staff shares its plans for the weekend. You can also let us know what you'll be up to over the weekend, but if your plans involve removing unwanted goats, we'll send you more. Look, we've got several thousand goats and a transportation device that works only on goats. We're doing what we can with the tools we've got.

@ceruleangrey: I'm too hyped for the return of Super Adventure Box to do much in Guild Wars 2, but fortunately (or unfortunately) Final Fantasy XIV has reeled me in like an Ala Mihgan fighting fish and I'm busy pretending to be a catman pirate. Yarr.

@Beau_Hindman: I'm moving to City of Steam finally in order to Rise and Shiny the heck out of it. I'm not brand-new to the game, but there's definitely still a ton for me to learn. So far I'm happy to say that I'm really impressed by it. I also have a ton of mobile games to check up on for future columns. On top of that, I'll be packing for a move. Wee?

@nbrianna: Assuming I get to play anything, I'll probably be mucking around in Guild Wars 2. I used a birthday-begotten free-level-20 scroll to roll a new Sylvari Necromancer, and I love it. I especially love that I didn't have to slog through the first 20 I-have-next-to-no-skills-or-traits levels and could jump right to being a full-on minion master because wow, Guild Wars nostalgia.

@Eliot_Lefebvre: It might tax me to sit through login errors, but there's nothing stopping me from playing the heck out of FFXIV this weekend. Glee.

@jefreahard: Eh, I dunno. I may collect a few more 1017 messages in FFXIV, or I may try to make a little more progress in Star Wars: The Old Republic and Lord of the Rings Online story quests. Or I may just forget all of that because it's college football season.

@RichieProcopio: This weekend I will be finishing up my achievements for the August content patches in Guild Wars 2 so I can focus on the wonders of Super Adventure Box: Back to School next week. I simply can't wait.
