The new color choices do seem a bit gendered, but, as British quiz show QI revealed, up until the 20th century pink was the traditional color for boys, and blue for girls. So if they do come here and you're a boy who fancies the Gloss Pink model or a girl the Light blue, just remember that in the 19th century you'd have been in concurring company - but since the consoles are only confirmed for Japan, this is all hypothetical babble anyway.
