The Queue: La hora es tarde

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

I guess I'm doing two Castlevania music videos in a row. Will tomorrow be the hat trick?!

NunoMarce asked:

Is there any criteria Blizzard uses when sending free gameplay weeks for inactive accounts ? I ask because I want to resub my girlfriend's account but I was waiting for the free week so she could play the free seven days plus the month, but so far she never got the email from Blizzard. Should be worth mentioning we both received several free weeks in the past, and I got mine as soon as 5.2 hit. Some friends of mine even got the free week twice! What gives?

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I'm sure Blizzard has internal criteria for sending out the free weeks -- you could try asking the BlizzardCS Twitter account.

Nocjin asked:

Do you think blizzard will ever do a massive overhaul of their crappy ancient server system? It seems to be getting in the way of stuff more and more, and might be an excuse to merge realms without it looking too bad.

Yeah, I mean, they've upgraded or straight-up replaced server hardware several times in the past. I imagine they'll do it again if the hardware gets long in the tooth. Servers just work better together now on the software side, too, from what I understand.

generic.andy asked:

I am also on Wrathion's Test of Valor quest. Is there a way to track how close I am to the 6000 VP goal? I haven't been capping each week so I can't say it will be exactly 6 weeks from when I started (I also don't know exactly when I started it).

Yeah! If you bring up the actual achievement in your Achievements pane, you can view -- and track -- how many VP you've gained/need.

KyleVeihdeffer asked:

According to WoWpedia, one of the Lorewalker Scrolls on the Isle of Thunder is in the area unlocked for phase 4. However I can't find it anywhere. Is it on that ship that keeps phasing incorrectly or am I just incredibly unobservant?

It's on the ship next to some stairs, if I remember correctly.

BapoThePaladin asked:

Since heirlooms can go to 85 now, do you think they'll remove the ilvl requirement to get into the regular cata instances? Seems kinda pointless to have them go to 85 if you cant get into dungeons with them. Yes, I know that its great for questing, and that all you need is decent gear in your bags, but I need my bag space!

Heirlooms are always item level 0, so they don't contribute to your item level at all anyway. Besides, questing is faster in that level range!
