WRUP: Next week on Massively edition

Absolutely nothing will explode.

Next week on Massively, tensions run high as Bree races to prevent Justin from assembling the shards necessary to release The Matrix Online from its shutdown. Meanwhile, Eliot, Matt, and Lis continue their investigation into Allods Online by concluding that it is in fact a game. Shawn investigates the fact that every game in the world is now free-to-play and concludes it's the fault of space aliens from another dimension who are also ghosts. Terry O'Quinn guest stars.

We hope you enjoyed this week of Massively, and now it's time for WRUP because no one read the end credits before. Instead of telling you who did what, we've opted to just let you know what we'll be playing over the weekend. You can let us know what you'll be up to in the comments and tune in again next week for the exciting episode that we just explained to you, thereby obviating any need for you to sit down and watch it.

Beau Hindman, F2P and Mobile Columnist

@Beau_Hindman: This weekend I am getting some more time in PlanetSide 2 and Gemstone IV while I start to explore Dragonrealms for the first time. I'm also looking to try to get more involved with Achaea and BATmud. And I've been considering that Defiance purchase as well, mainly because I enjoy MMOFPS games so much and I've been told it's a great game for casual players.

Bree Royce, Editor-in-Chief

@nbrianna: Guild Wars 2 for me. I farmed too greedily and too deep during SABfest 2013, but now I think I can play normally again. Maybe. Also maybe something else... I've been wanting to try some mods in Torchlight II now that the editor and Steam Workshop are up.

@PsykopigAU: I have been toying around with Neverwinter, so I will likely be there, taking down some demons. I am also about to have a quick playthrough of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon -- ready for some '80s-style cheese!

Eliot Lefebvre, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor

@Eliot_Lefebvre: Once again I find myself without much else on my gaming plate aside from Star Wars: The Old Republic and various single-player dalliances. I'm not really all that distraught by this fact, although I do wish that the next patch were already out so I could spend the weekend making myself oh so pretty.

Elisabeth Cardy, Guild Wars 2 Columnist and Contributing Editor

@elixabethclaire: I'll be sneaking some Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 in this weekend. I've really gotten into redoing the original Guild Wars campaign for my streams, so I'll be leveling that character a bit so that she is at the proper level. I've decided it's time to commit to getting my Guild Wars 2 thief up to 80 (she's presently 60), so that's my next goal there. I probably won't make huge strides in either of these games, though, due to playing real life Tetris with most of my worldly possessions.

Jasmine Hruschak, Multimedia Contributor

@irljasmine: Gaining experience in Neverwinter is my MMO priority right now. I would like to see what my Great Weapon Fighter is like at max level, so I'll be PvPing, questing, dungeoning, and skirmishing all over the place.

Justin Olivetti, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor

@Sypster: I have a lot on my plate, although a recent illness has kept me from playing much. I need to wrap up a few things on my Captain in Lord of the Rings Online so I'm 100% ready for the update next week, I should probably check out the new Guild Wars 2 dungeon before it goes away, and my exploration of Neverwinter continues.

Matt Daniel, Contributing Editor

@mvmatt: My plans for the weekend consist largely of playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and being magnificently lazy. I may try to wrap my head further around Age of Wushu as well, but so far my comprehension of the game remains limited. That is, I have no idea what I'm doing.

MJ Guthrie, Columnist Extraordinaire and Contributing Editor

@MJ_Guthrie: I don't know -- for the last few weekends every time I have a gaming plan, real life butts in and yanks it away! So maybe if I say "nothing," I'll get the opposite and have plenty of gaming goodness. If that's the case, I'll spend more time in The Secret World and SWTOR. Of course, I will also be following my weekly reader directions in Darkfall for Choose My Adventure; it looks as if I'll be braving the wilds!

Richie Procopio, Multimedia Contributor

@RichieProcopio: I'll mostly be playing Neverwinter this weekend as I'm already way behind the leveling curve of the other open beta members. I have, however, run the first dungeon a few times and even tested my healing chops in a PvP match or two. I'm also still enjoying the heck out of Tomb Raider. That game just oozes fun... which I guess sounds nasty. But trust me, it's not.

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
