Tiny Brains coming to next-gen platforms after launch in fall

Tiny Brains also on nextgen systems

Tiny Brains, the co-op puzzle game starring a team of tiny, scientifically enhanced animals, will make its way to next-gen consoles following a launch on PC and current-gen systems this fall. Tiny Brains comes from Spearhead Games, a Montreal studio founded by Assassin's Creed 3 Design Director Simon Darveau, Dead Space 3 Game Designer Malik Boukhira and Army of Two Development Director Atul Mehra.

The animals in Tiny Brains each have unique powers – Create, Vortex, Teleport and Force – and must work together to escape the lab. Tiny Brains will be at E3, following a showing at PAX East earlier this year.

MONTREAL- May 23, 2013 - Spearhead Games, a new independent game studio founded by former EA and Ubisoft® developers, today announced that its upcoming co-op action puzzler Tiny Brains is planned for a next-gen console release following its initial release this fall and will be on show at E3 in the South Hall, booth 2359.The game was first revealed at PAX East this year, where attendees were invited to team up as super-powered lab animals and participate in a grand experiment to make a truly cooperative game.

"Our results from PAX East were really gratifying," said Simon Darveau, co-founder and producer at Spearhead Games and formerly Assassin's Creed® III design director at Ubisoft®. "Every single person who played our demo ranked Tiny Brains as 'fun' or 'extremely fun,' and we had a blast seeing the many ways players combined their different powers to solve our puzzles. For E3, we've added in more devious challenges and can't wait to experiment on... oops I mean collect feedback from... new players."

With a whimsical 3D art style, Tiny Brains challenges players to escape a mad scientist's nefarious puzzles as one of four mysteriously powerful lab rodents. Using each tiny brain's unique power – Create, Vortex, Teleport and Force – players collaborate to beat intricate levels and escape to freedom. The downloadable title will be available early this fall via the laboratories of PC and current generation consoles and later via next-generation test centers, with details to be announced at a later date.
