The Queue: Rescue Me

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Commenter JeffLaBowski requested this video as today's header, and I'm happy to oblige.

lackinganame asked:

5.3 content seems a little "light" dose this mean we can expect 5.4 to drop quicker then other patches?

Not necessarily; you should expect to wait about as long as the wait between 5.1 and 5.2 for 5.4. 5.1 was another smaller (read: non-raid) content patch and it came out pretty swiftly as well. Look for 5.4 around the end of summer.

Aubrey asked:

With the advent of BoA mounts and pets, do you think it's about time Blizzard dropped all their Pet Store prices across the board? What once was something of a convenience fee is now just an unjustified added expense, and reducing the prices, at least on the mounts (the pets are already probably cheap enough) might help reduce the backlash they seem to get with every new release.

I'm thinking $15 for each mount wouldn't be bad, and $5-10 per pet depending on complexity.

For the record I'm a happy own of all of the pets (mostly thanks to charity incentives and a boyfriend) and a few of the mounts. I have no problems with a cosmetic cash store, I just think that keeping the original prices for a benefit we're no longer receiving is kind of silly.

Given how much money Blizzard makes off of those pets/mounts (a buttload), it's pretty unlikely the price will go down unless people stop paying it. This is the reality of the Pet Store.

thebl4ckd0g asked:

anybody know of a good mod that will sort the icons when you create macros? Instead of having to tirelessly scroll through them, it'd be nice if there was a rather simple mod that sorted them.

Commenters recommend the Advanced Icon Selector mod.

RichCooper asked:

When I create the new armour from Battlefield: Barrens which spec does it use? I don't need any of it for my main or off specs (resto/ele) so I was considering using this as an opportunity to play with with an enhancement spec on my shaman.

It uses the spec marked in your Loot Specialization box thingy.

codexreaper asked:

Early in 5.3 PTR, dataminers had discovered character auras that were apparently rewards for finishing old raid content (ie, a fiery glow from Molten Core, or a Fel glow from Black Temple). I don't recall seeing anything about those since then, did they actually make it into 5.3?

That was an April Fool's joke by Wowhead. It's not actually happening.
