WRUP: Games! Com!

WRUP Games! Com!

This was one of the first things I saw after touching down in Cologne back in 2011. Will I see an Uncharted 4 pick-up truck this time around? What games (announced or otherwise) are you looking forward to hearing about at Gamescom next week?

More to the point, what's everyone playing?

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@Sliwinski): [Germany!]

  • Danny Cowan (@Sardoose): Disney Infinity all day, every day.

  • David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): [Attending a wedding.]

  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): [Germany!]

  • Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): For reasons beyond my comprehension, I have purchased the PC version of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition ver. 2012, so I guess I'll be seeing if I still really don't click with this game like the last four or five times I tried to get into it.

  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I'm telling smartly dressed gentlemen to go here and shoot that in The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

  • Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek): I'll be playing Madden 25 all weekend.

  • Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM): [Also Germany!]

  • Sinan Kubba (@Shoinan): [You get the idea!]

  • Steven Wong: [Babies!]

  • Susan Arendt (@SusanArendt): Finishing up The Room and Puzzle Agent 2 (assuming I can get past one particularly tedious puzzle), and then it's off to the garden for Plants vs. Zombies 2. I'm all about gaming on the iPad this weekend, apparently)

  • Thomas Schulenberg (@Lavapotamus): I haven't played a Mario & Luigi game since Superstar Saga, so starting up Dream Team has been a blast so far. Glad to see the series' humor and timing-based battle system are as strong as ever. Any spare hour I find is going straight into this game.

  • Xav de Matos (@Xav): If you read my review, you know I loved Splinter Cell: Blacklist. This weekend, I'll be playing the PC version and trying for a complete stealth-only, no-kill run on a higher difficulty.
