The Queue: I like shorts

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

They're comfy and easy to wear.

mattprendo asked:

About the Heirloom drops from SoO, I have read they are usable up to level 100. Is this an indicator that the next expansion will be an epic major story like Cataclysm and WOTLK rolled into one big hot mess but instead of 5 levels we are getting 10 to push through. Normally when Blizzard applies level caps to things hasn't it always been secluded to an expansion.

Blizzard folks said that the level 100 cap on the heirlooms isn't set in stone, so we'll just have to wait and see how many levels we're getting in the next expansion and how long the heirlooms will last relative to them.

DanielHudson asked:

Was there ever any speculation on having repair mounts or bots provide the owner with some sort of commission for the usage of others? Cause I think that would be a great idea and may make more players invest in those gold sinks.

Not that I'm aware of, certainly, though it's worked with varying degrees of success in other games. Ragnarok Online had an entire class based around selling stuff to passersby.

Ickthid asked:

Pandaren. I have seen people look down on role-players that play their Pandaren as Pandaria natives. Aside from the fact that those Pandaren haven't had an introductory quest into the Alliance/Horde, why is this a taboo? Especially this late in the expansion? I can definitely see why some Pandaren may want to side with the Alliance.

Role-players, man. I dunno. I seem to recall some native, non-Wandering Isle pandaren joining up with either faction during the expansion, but maybe that's not enough for some!

DarkSpade asked:

Blizzard gave us a big island to explore and farm in 5.4. Why limit the mobs that give rep to one tiny part?

I rather like relegating the rep-grind mobs to one part of the island, personally. I like to have things a little compartmentalized. Besides, that keeps huge rep grind groups away from the other huge grinding groups, doesn't it?
