NVIDIA reveals Gamestream

This morning, NVIDIA took Shield to the living room by revealing Gamestream: an initiative aimed at pairing the company's GPUs with streaming gaming via its handheld game console. We were able to witness a low-latency, 4K demo, during which we noticed a few of Shield's normal streaming issues. Read on for the entire scoop.

Oculus Rift's John Carmack says a new Rift dev kit is in the works

In an interview with Engadget this morning, Oculus Rift's new Chief Technology Officer John Carmack stated that a new Dev kit is under construction. According to him, said kit will reach the hands of developers before the retail unit ships sometime in 2014. Pebble's Migicovsky: we're focused on software, not hardware right now

Engadget caught up with Migicovsky in NY today after his recent appearance at an MIT hackathon. "What we're focused on right now is software," the exec explained. After a tremendously successful crowdfunding campaign and product launch, Pebble's shifting its focus from hardware to bringing the next killer app to the platform.
