The Queue: Black Saturday

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Okay, okay, I know it's Saturday, but this should've been the Queue song yesterday.

jabrone77 asked:

I was thinking the other day...what if you could get honor from killing guards? Not in all cities, but just two major ones for each faction. Orgrimmar and Darnassus for Kalimdor and Stormwind and the Undercity for the Eastern Kingdoms. Give players 5 honor per guard. I think this would be great for world PvP and make major cities a little more unsafe. What do you guys think?

Well, a few issues with that: first, it wouldn't really make cities more dangerous, since even on a PVP server you're safe within your own city unless you turn your PVP flag on. Second, guards spawn inside cities pretty much infinitely, so the opposite faction could just farm honor that way during off-peak hours.

WordGardener asked:

Hey guys- I've not been playing much. I thought it might help to join up with the WI guild. How is it? WHERE is it? Is the community on it nice?

I did also ask this on breakfast topic, but decided it belonged over here. :)

The WI guild is called It Came From The Blog, and it's on Horde side on Zangarmarsh. Just do a /who and message whoever's online! It's full of nice people!

Donald3 asked:

If peace ever broke out on Azeroth would we have to massacre all the Death Knights so they'd stop killing? IIRC DK undeath is fueled by the suffering of their victims. We've had constant fighting so there's been a constant stream of victims. No fighting, those DKs are going to be getting hungry.

They could always fight each other! It'd be like death knight Valhalla. No need to kill them all.

CRtheMighty asked:

Taking Sacco's umbrage at all the Sylvanas discussion and running with it, here's a question for the writers of the Queue: How often do you purposely answer questions that you know will get readers talking about only that one subject, just to mess with whoever is doing the Queue next? I mean, there's always those random days where everyone is on about puppies or summat, but I swear I've seen some discussion-heavy questions answered just so the next writer will have 500 comments to wade through. (Personally, I'd prank the hell out of my co-writers if I answered columns. Might be why I am not a columnist of any kind.)

I don't do this, but I'm pretty sure Adam does it (if yesterday's Queue is any evidence, anyway).
