Breakfast Topic: Do you have a bank alt?

I believe I've talked at length about the state of my main character's bank and bags. But it wasn't until a few days ago that I realized I might just have a problem with squirreling things away. I don't remember a time in which I didn't have a bank alt -- a character created just to hold all the non-soulbound stuff that my main and alts don't feel like lugging around. The addition of multiple guild bank tabs was nice, too -- I could happily sort all my assorted items and keep track of them. Or that was the intention, anyway.

The other day I had a nice interaction with a player who had a schematic I was after, in my eternal quest to own all engineering schematics. They had a rare one that was hard to find, and I offered a rare, unobtainable recipe I had as trade. After making the trade, they asked if they could have a guild invite, curious to see what exactly I was talking about when I said I had "a lot of old junk." The next half hour or so played out like an Azeroth edition of American Pickers, and I slowly began to realize that perhaps I was the crazy old dude with six old barns piled full of junk he'd collected for 60 some-odd years. Like I said, I might have a problem with squirreling things away.

But I'm curious, because there seem to be plenty of people that have no problems with bank space at all -- do you have a bank alt? A character you have no intention of leveling, just to hold all your extra stuff? Does your bank alt have a guild so they have a maximum amount of space? Do you use it to hold trade goods, transmog items, or for doing all your auctions and making some gold? Do you collect random junk, or do you sell everything the second you get it?
