'Final Fantasy Explorers' trademark filed in US, Europe
Final Fantasy Explorers might be flagging down an airship to cross oceans soon, based on trademark filings with the US Patent and Trademark Office and Europe's Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market. Both trademarks were filed by Square-Enix Holdings Co, Ltd., with registration fees presumably paid for in Gil.

Explorers is a multiplayer-focused 3DS title that builds its class system from the Final Fantasy series' established job types. Knights, Monks and White and Black Mages have been confirmed as classes, but Siliconera's translation of Jump's reveal reports that other job types will be present as well. Whatever the final count may be, we'll still probably have that lengthy argument with friends over who will be stuck as the White Mage, which is an elegant name for Adult Babysitting.
