The Queue: XP, models, toy box, and voice

We've got a few good questions today. Then I went and talked about Thrall being emo.

how much xp does the wod starter quests give compared to timeless isle dailies? How about TI mobs vs wod mobs?

In modern times Blizzard has always nerfed previous expansion XP content after max expansion level in order to force leveling in the new zones. I have no doubt that they'll do the same for WoD, so don't expect to be able to quest around the Timeless Isle. Can you save dailies and turn them all in for a nice little bump? Sure, but we don't know how big that'd be -- and it probably would be more worthwhile to just go and level for 30 minutes rather than flying around for an hour turning stuff in.

Is the Toybox expected to be account wide or character wide? I am really hoping for account.

You're in luck, it's going to be account wide. We don't expect that everything under the sun is going to go into the toybox, but a lot of stuff will! It's going to be one of those things that develops over time, and I expect that Blizzard will keep adding to it.

Along with the updated models, do you think they might take the opportunity update some of the random things NPCs say when you click on them? There are a few quotes that are kind of outdated at this point. I know worgen models aren't being updated, but I'm kind of tired of hearing, "We've been walled up for far too long." Um, you haven't been walled up for a while now ...

I doubt it, but that's a neat idea! We're kinda in the process of a game revamp it feels like, so I wouldn't put it past Blizzard to update the sound files once we get further along. Overall in WoW I'd like to see more voice acting -- it's one of the things that games like Skyrim does really well. Bringing that to the Warcraft universe would require an absolute massive undertaking, but if there's one company that could pull it off, it'd be Blizzard.

I'd really just love it for Thrall to actually talk to me more. I want to hear him whine about the elements and his lost love. Thrall is emo, discuss.

Yes, the Human side of the Worgen are getting updated, no need to worry about your worgen human lagging behind others. They're just as good.
