Am I the only one who keeps hearing 'The Dark Star' as some kind of Dio song in his head? Just me? Man, it totally sounds like some kind of weird late 70's/early 80's metal song to me.

As far as I know, Aggra shows up in Nagrand and she's fine.

Should WoW have a same-sex relationship?
Personally I would like to see one. But I don't know where it should be, or who the people in it should be -- whether it should be a couple of entirely new characters or established ones, etc. I've always felt you could do this in WoW without much dwelling on it by simply having an NPC drop a line about 'his husband' or whatever. But that might not be satisfying for players who identify strongly with the idea.
WoW in general doesn't really show us much of character relationships that way. I've never even seen Thrall and Aggra kiss, for example. I doubt that WoW would ever give us a same sex relationship that felt any more real than that. It would still be a nice step forward in my opinion.

Q4TQ: for anybody playing beta. Have you been lucky enough to get a profession book to drop in the Tanaan Jungle entry quests, or did you have to wait till you got to your faction's first zone? I've been wanting the skinning one to drop, b/c there are beasts there, but you can't skin them. I would assume if you got the skinning book that you could...
Not yet. I've gotten books in Frostfire Ridge and SMV, but not Tanaan. I don't know if that's just the way it's designed or if I simply haven't gotten lucky with it.

So, I was wandering around older zones, and I saw something I'd never really paid much mind to before. It was very curious after I saw it though. It doesn't seem to make any sense. In Northern Stranglethorn, there is a crumbled stone structure that can be found to the west of the Ruins of Zul'kunda along the coastline. The stone doesn't appear trollish in nature, though. It kind of looks like it may have been a dam at one point...but there's no water on the other side. Who or what could possibly have built this dilapidated structure?
You're looking at the backend of the Deadmines. There's even a giant door you can find that the ship inside the Deadmines could sail out of - it's how they intend to get that gigantic ironclad out of the mines and up to Stormwind to attack it.

Anybody else starting to suspect that Blizzard's approach to creating the new tier sets has devolved to "They're all just gonna mog to their favorite old tier anyway...screw it, let the interns design everything"?
Based on the sets I've seen so far, that seems ridiculously far from the truth. It seems like a fancy way of saying I don't like the new tier sets. Why not just say that? The new warrior tier set is crazy detailed, love it or hate it, and that paladin set's kind of amazing.
