The Queue: My cat is the best rogue ever

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Matthew Rossi will be your host today.

That's my cat Sasquatch. He is adorable, and also, apparently he's a master of stealth. Just look at him up there. Oh, wait, you can't, because he's just that stealthy.

Right now, let's answer some WoW questions! The way Sasquatch would, with all the craft and guile of a master of subtlety. Failing that, let's just hide under a rug.

Bapo-The-Paladin asks:
So do all three world bosses share a loot lockout, or is it just Drov and Tarlna?

The hotfix makes it sound like it's just them, since Rukhan also drops higher ilvl gear?

Based on my reading of the patch notes it's just those two. I don't think there's a third for this to be applied to yet anyway.

Gan7114 asks:
Q4TQ: setting aside the reality of actually being able to do so, why are barn traps not stackable? In an expansion where mats/resources now stack to 200, and even lumber is stackable to 250 (yes, I know you can, in fact, stack lumber), it just seems incredibly inconvenient and archaic to have one trap take up one bag space. Even if, conceivably, stacking 20 traps with huge beast carcasses into one bag space seems ridiculous.

I actually believe that Dryftwood's answer to your question is the most plausible. For people who didn't read it, I'll reproduce it here.

I assume it's so you're not sitting on a giant stack of 200 and never having to go back out into the world to farm the mats. You can have 21 orders going and a good bit of back up in your bank/bags, but you certainly wouldn't want to fill them full. And if you can stack them, why go out at all? You could farm it all in one night and sit back for a good while before ever having to fight anything again(for awhile).

Granted the mine and herb garden work fine with stacks, but they don't provide Savage Blood. My guess is they want you to work for that a bit.

I don't actually know why (and neither does anyone who wasn't involved in the design) but that seems like a plausible possibility to me.

sylannia1 asks:
Q4tQ: What exactly did the ogres in Nagrand find - taking from the dungeon journal entry for Ko'ragh: Ko'ragh was the only ogre to survive direct exposure to a mysterious relic unearthed by the Highmaul excavations of Nagrand, and was left with a near-complete immunity to all magic.

And if you look above the boss it looks suspiciously like the heart that was above Garrosh, any idea what that thing is?

We don't know what Ko'ragh found yet. Possibly it's the artifact that the goblins have you help them steal, because that's sure not going to go bad or anything.

Biggiy05 asks:
Herbalism and mining seem to be almost if not completely useless as professions thanks to the herb garden and mine. Are they worth keeping at this point? My main is an engineer/miner but I'm tempted to drop mining for skinning to help my LW alt out. Thoughts? Good idea? Bad idea?

Personally, I wish I still had mining. I am not getting enough from the mine. Holy heck, I really am not. But that's just me. Maybe you're doing better. But if you're trying to feed a LW alt, then skinning seems like it would be a good choice for you.

Chili update: I will be cooking it on Sunday.

On Friday my Twitter stream will feature a Chicken and Broccoli hotdish that is totally Minnesotan.

This Queue is now about food. BAM.

What? He thinks he needs to inform you all about what he's eating and when he's going to eat it, like one of those weird old ladies who takes pictures of their food and posts it to Twitter. Heck, he's actually going to do that, and he thinks you need to know it. So here we are. Go nuts.

CaptainCakewalk asks:
Q4tQ: I know some loathed them but I kinda liked them so my question is this: Do you miss Scenarios? Be it as a quick, easy gold source, a fun change of pace or something different altogether?

I liked them for what they were good at - letting DPS players have something to do instantly in game while waiting for a dungeon or in-between rep grinds, LFR, etc etc. They were fun, they played around with Pandaria and the expansion's lore. As much as I liked how Blizzard used them in leveling, I think they should have kept them around for Warlords. Maybe we'll get lucky and some new scenarios will come out for level 100 play.

Meestercat asks:
Q4tQ today:

I've been planning some transmog sets for my main and it appears that I need PvP pieces to complete the look. Now, I suck at PvP and don't massively enjoy it any more - what is the quickest way I can accrue Honor these days? (And this is for a non-level 100 I should add.)

If you really hate running BG's at sub-max level (often it can be frustrating) then I agree with the commenters who said get a timer and run either Tol Barad or Wintergrasp, or even both.

I gotta admit, I miss being able to trade justice for honor.

And that's the Queue for this week. Hopefully by next week I'll have gotten over this astonishingly painful constant sinus issue and can start playing WoW again without having to almost die from vertigo. I miss getting to do more than log in for five minutes at a time.
