I wouldn't be very happy if the expansion cost $49 this time around. Warlords of Draenor would need to be a substantially larger expansion pack to justify a price increase, and so far, that doesn't seem to be the case. If they're going to use the level 90 boost as justification for a price increase, that doesn't make sense, either. It isn't free at that point. They're charging you for one without asking. The level boost should be its own transaction at a reasonable price point -- I would accept $30 as the upper end of reasonable, I think.
With new pvp season planned, what is to be done for raiders and non pvpers to do until WoD? I am sick of Timeless island, there is nothing left to do in game really.
First off, your name, dude. What the heck. Second, I don't really know! If there's nothing left for you to do, take a break until Warlords of Draenor. Don't feel bad about it. Spend some time playing another game, or no game, and come back when there's new content.
why are people no longer rezzing after a boss battle in LFR. I died on the Sha of Pride in the burn phase and we beat him. I then watched everyone log out. No one cast a mass rez. I always thought that was just an easy thing to do. Mass rez after a boss and then drop group. Did I have a bad experience or is this now a thing?
It's now a "thing." It probably started happening because healers didn't want to rez people who died in dumb ways. Through some silly logical evolution, people decided to build on that and never rez anyone. Ever. Healers who haven't fallen into that trap will start out rezzing in LFR, but eventually get beaten down by people who insist nobody needs to rez, everyone must run back.
While tanking as a paladin, does divine shield or hand of protection drop all threat/aggro? Whenever I remember this question I'm in a raid and don't want to test it!
Divine Shield drops all threat while it's active, because the mob(s) can't hit you at all. They'll attack someone they can hit. When Divine Shield drops, they'll come back to you once you've hit them again. Divine Protection will not drop aggro, because it's only a damage reduction, not an immunity. Hand of Protection will drop aggro, because you become immune to physical damage and the Divine Shield rules apply.
One of my favorite tanking tricks used to be casting Hand of Protection on myself, using taunt to force an enemy to attack me while I was immune, then manually remove Hand when the taunt expired. It would give me a couple seconds of invincibility for a healer to top my health off. I don't recommend trying that tactic these days, mechanical changes have rendered the trick non-functional, I believe. You'll get people killed.
If Garrosh is disgusted by the fact that the Orc's drank demon blood for power, how is he justifying the use of the Sha on himself? He looks pretty Sha infested by the end of his fight. Is this just for aesthetic appeal or was he giving himself over to the Sha for more power? How is it different than the drinking of the demon blood by the other Orcs?
I believe it's a matter of control. The demon blood would've been perfectly okay if it didn't mean bowing down to the Legion. Garrosh is in full control of the sha power, or at least believes that he is, and thus it's totally okay. What Garrosh wants is orc domination, and any power that exerts dominance over them is bad. If they can dominate the source of power, it's great. It isn't about morality. It's about control.
