The Queue: A nervous Tick

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) misses Saturday morning.

People remember this show, right? I'm not the only one? Every time I mention it to people they immediately assume I'm talking about the live action show. It was a cartoon first, and it was an amazing cartoon. Amazing enough to make my mom snort her coffee out her nose on many a Saturday morning.

Wardens are very specifically a night elf thing -- it wouldn't make sense for any other race but night elf to be them. The most race-limited they got in terms of classes in vanilla was druids, and even then the class had a logical Horde counterpart. I suspect if they had considered it as a class, they figured it would just be too limiting from a choice perspective, aside from the whole rogues being just about the same thing.

Well, the whole thing with Hearthstone is you're never really "done." There's no finish line to cross, it's just a game to keep you amused -- and it's managed to sink its addictive hooks into lots and lots of people. I like it as something to pass the time, I think it's a fun game, but if it's not really gripping you in terms of deck building and matches, nobody's saying you have to keep playing it forever!

A few days ago a guy in my guild got the horse off Attumen (very jealous) and apparently it comes with a feat of strength achievment, he has 2 accounts and were on both at the time and both characters got the achievment. I didn't think to ask him at the time, mainly due to the grats spam, but are achievments shared across multiple WoW logins on your battle.net account or is there another way to link two accounts together. Also does this apply to mounts and battle pets aswell?

Here's how it works -- you can have multiple WoW licenses on a single Battle.net account. All achievements, mounts, pets, the whole shebang of account shared stuff is shared across all the licenses on that single Battle.net account. As long as both of the characters are using the same Battle.net email and account, they'll have everything.

QftQ: What do you think they'll do to the Dark Portal area in the Blasted Lands in WoD? Since Outlands will no longer be accessible there, it seems the NPCs & some of their quests will no longer be relevant. So do you think we'll see small or big changes? Like just new NPCs, a whole new camp, something even bigger? Also, will the Dark Portal get a fresh coat of paint too?

I imagine there will be something pretty significant over there to note the change to the Dark Portal. They mentioned a lead-in event at BlizzCon where players battle at the Dark Portal -- I'm guessing we'll see something really cool, but we've got no idea what exactly it'll be just yet. As for the old questgivers and NPCs, I imagine they'll either have a change of assignment, or simply be removed or relocated elsewhere.

I don't think so, but we can't quite scratch off the possibility just yet. Right now, the expansion seems to be focused on Draenor and setting everything right over there. After we get through doing that, maybe we'll see something back over on Azeroth -- or maybe that will lead into the expansion after this one. They did say Wrathion wasn't going to have a major role in this expansion, and given what he's done so far in Mists, I can't really see us battling a legion invasion without him in some major capacity. But we'll have to wait and see!

Speculation question for the day... TBC and WOLK had 10 levels and one new tier of tradeskills. Cata and MOP had 5 levels and one new tradeskill tier. So, WOD... one tier or two? ;-)

I don't think they'd ever shove two tiers of a tradeskill into a single expansion. It doesn't make much sense to do so, does it?

We don't! I don't think she's ever been given a name. If I remember correctly, Maraad had his action figure first, then appeared in the comics, and then was given an NPC. The only blood elf action figure we've had along the same lines was Valeera Sanguinar -- but the blood elf in the trailer doesn't look like her at all, and she's a caster, not a rogue. So ... good question! Maybe they'll tell us someday.
