The Queue: Taco

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Tuesday are my favorite day, because there's tacos at the deli next to my office. I'll go have a taco today. Won't you join me?

Damn right you will.

It's Taco Tuesday.

MightyTobias asked:

How realistic would it be to think after Warlords comes out a Max level 100 could solo Cata content?

I think that depends on what you consider Cataclysm content. Dungeons? Yes, I think that's going to be relatively easy. You can solo most Wrath things right now, so I'm guessing that'll stay true, even with the big crunch coming on.

Raids? Probably not, at least not universally. Some classes are just better at soloing content, namely anything that has a pet with taunt and a healing spell (hunters and warlocks). Paladins and Death Knights also have a relatively easy time given their healing and mana/resource return abilities. That being said, I suspect they'll be able to solo Cataclysm raids, but other classes, probably not.

Scott asked:

Where are the Pandarens going to imprison/hold Garrosh for his trial? They don't seem to have a lot of established governmental structures....

They've got some temples and other large structures. Probably not hard for them to stick some bars on something and let that Orc rot. Of course, bars alone cannot hold such a creature...

Brian asked:

Do you think Multistrike will work with resource generating mechanics?

I'd be surprised if it doesn't. Part of the resource generation is that it grows with more hits, and it only feels fair to increase that generation with more hits. I wouldn't be surprised to see caps on it, however.

Now all this said, there' s really no concrete information about multistrike. We won't know the formulas, etc until we get into the beta.

Phil asked:

Why are the bathrooms in Azeroth only in the most far-flung parts of the wilderness? (inspired by poopquest.wordpress.com )

Animals have to poop too, you know. They use those outhouses. Where else would they go?

Chris asked:

am leveling my first troll in pandaria. Hit the Cho quest about ancestors. Were trolls always awesome or just a Vol'jin push?

I think trolls have always been pretty cool, and they've been a great example of Blizzard continuing to improve a story as the game ages. They started out with not a ton of lore, and it's absolutely boomed over the years. It's fitting the Vol'jin is the leader know.

BCF asked:

Sorry if this has been asked, but will BC get the same quest overhaul vanilla did when Cata came out? After just leveling an alt through Outlands recently you can tell how dated and poorly done (by today's standards) a lot of the quests are.

Nope, Blizzard has said that they're not planning on doing that yet. I think that's probably a good decision too, given the past mistakes of diverting resources away from end-game content creation. Blizzard must focus in WoD on making the end-game the best possible thing in the world. If they can't pull that off, WoW's numbers will continue the decline at way too fast of a pace.
